A secondary dominant is a major triad or dominant seventh chord built and set to resolve to a scale degree other than the tonic.

You can use it as a melodic embellishment, as a response to each melody segment.

4. Improvise your style by applying the concept whenever possible. Don’t center your improvisation on the concept. You already did this in the previous exercises. Integrate it without forcing it as a complement to the resources you usually use.
